Brothers in Arms Velen (How do I complete it?)

I just got to the part in the main story where (Spoilers) Uma is revealed to be Avallach and we have to recruit allies. Apparently I failed Brothers in Arms Velen. How do I complete it before it's failed?

If you killed Keira Metz or let her go to Radovid, you will fail this quest. You can also recruit Letho, if he is present in your game.

Hmm, okay. That sucks. I wish there was a more simple way of saying if there was a good ending or a bad ending in quests in this game. When talking that is. Whether you decide to say one thing or the other. That sucks :<

Without getting too spoilery... the only major difference Keira makes is in the battle for Kaer Moran. You will need to jump in and do what she was supposed to do.

Meh. I never liked Keira anyway.
