I've read that its a place to grind loot but im in no need of money and i play on Death March and having 10 more hammer/spear wielding bandit is nothing i want.
10! There are different Hanse bases, the one has 20 plus that come out of the wood work. I think most witcher players play it on death march, and if you did the dr moreau mission you should have unlocked the mutagens. I think it's the second one on the magic path you can level up, asically Arrad becomes a ground pound ice blast that freezes characters or even makes them explode. It's a lot of fun, and actually will stop the runner if that is your goal.
Mind you if your playing on death march and you want to items to be "Grand mastered crafted" and not just mastered crafted, it cost about 25K. So if you want to turn them all into grand master armor and swords, you are going to need the coin. I say that because it seems to be a personal goal for a lot of players to grand master craft all the witcher armor sets. If you are going to just pick one, I would suggest going wolf. It makes the most sense since Geralt is from the school of the wolf, and if gives you enough protection compared to the school of the cat, and you still can cast signs rather fast.
In blood and wine the two signs you use the most are arad and quen, more so when quen can actually take damage and heal you. I guess everyone has their own style of game play though.
