Abandoned Sawmill Quest Bug (FIXED)
So. Here I am, clearing my secondary quests before I go onto the main quests, and I encounter aa quest called "Abandoned Sawmill" I'm not sure if this is DLC or something, but when I got there, I got the objective to kill the leshen. Only two problems. The leshen is friendly. And after I did some research, I had discovered that there was an objective before this that I had to complete, which was search the abandoned sawmill using your Witcher Senses 0/4

Instead, I didn't get to complete that objective, but it jumped right to kill the leshen.

Here are a list of mods I'm running:
Debug Console
E3FX
Fast Travel From Anywhere
Auto-loot Corpses
Auto-Apply Oils

Could anyone help me solve this problem please? I would like to know if it's downloadable content, because I will uninstall it if it is.

THIS ISSUE IS NOW FIXED. THIS FIX APPLIES TO ALL ALLIES YOU ARE REQUIRED TO KILL, BUT YOU MUST HAVE DEBUG CONSOLE ENABLER.
JUST SPAWN A FEW ENEMIES NEAR THE ALLY AND LET THE ENEMIES KILL THE ALLY.
I used: spawn(leshen)

Do you have an earlier save? It sounds lke you have broken the quest. The map should guide you to the missing wagon before you find the Leshen.

If the quest IS broken and you dont have an earlier save, don't worry too much. It really is minor. You missed a few XP and that is all.

I think I'm what they call a completionist. I get masive gaming OCD if I have one quest lurking which I can complete but it won't let me. ;-;

I even looked for some Debug Console commands that would kill the leshen for me. But nothing :< I will try to uninstall the mods once I've complete the main quests.

You don't have a save from before that quest?

I think I activated the quest like a hundred saves ago before I began travelling to all the undiscovered locations. So no before game :<

Ah, ok. I got it from the Cunny of the Goose and saved. Then got to the camp and saved. Then got to the wagon and saved. Then got to the Leshen and saved. :(

Yeah yeah, too much saving. But it's quick and helps when you end up in a game breaker.

The quest is litteraly kill the leshen, and thats it.

You don't understand the issue I'm having with this quest. I can't kill the leshen, he's an ally.

I tried to say that you don't miss out anything, if you can't complete the quest.. It's basicly like a
question mark event more then a quest

Eko is right, you are not missing anything. This won't break the game, nor will it break the story. You can still finish the overall plot and this minor quest not being completed won't lead to any kind of bad ending. It's so minor it does not affect the game in any way. You will be cool. Let it go.

I do every question mark. I do get it. But sometimes, if a quest is broken, as is the case here, you just have to give it up. I'm not trying to dismiss it so much as trying to save exasperation.

There is a chance bug will clear itself once you do some other quests first. Chance map, finish something else, kill some monsters, change enemy upscaling, go and check the Leshen again. May not work, but is still easier then starting everything over.

Thanks, I will try this.
I fixed it, read the bottom of the discussion on how.
