Grass filling in.
I've been getting really annoyed by grass filling in in the game, it's glaringly obvious and it messes with my immersion (I realize how stupid that sounds but bear with me).

I then started messing around with the user settings file, and found that grassdistancescale helps out a lot with reducing how noticeable the problem is if set at 1.5, anything above that however and weird issues start happening with flickering foliage when you move your camera (most noticeable at the wheat fields outside of Oxenfurt).

I was just wondering if anyone's found a way to get rid of grass filling in without causing other problems.

Don't set Grass Density too high or Generation Efficiency too low or it will cause that flickering. I've got my settings at:

GrassDensity=3600
GrassGenerationEfficiency=0.015
GrassDistanceScale=6
GrassRingSize=33554432

Performance hit is really noticeable but it's a tradeoff that might be worth it for you nonetheless. I got the game from Gog if you're wondering why I don't have it in my library.
