How do you kill that monsyer spider Harrisi
That monster Harrisi in the cave is nasty One attack from it and I am dead.
I think I have tried everything in my arsenal HELP

I don't know which particular spider you are talking about but make sure it's not like 10+ levels above you, because if it is, you won't be able to kill it. If that is not the case, check if you have "Enemy Upscaling" turned on in the options. It is known to cause bugs with some monters

The potion Golden Oriole can protect you from poison attacks. If you have it fully ranked up to Superior, poison attacks will actually heal you. Other than that just make sure you are dodging his attacks and try to keep the Quen shield active.

You probably shouldn't be getting one-shotted. That quest "missing brother" is for players around level 30 or so. As Ozone pointed out you might be in over your head right now.

I just defeated him at level 11.. so.. all u gota do is quen up and roll around till he spews poison gas everyuwhere attack him from behind 6 7 times roll outa there when hes done save, get back in there rinse and repeat till hes dead

That is some stupid ass game design... I was just walking around and randomly picked up the missing-brother quest by talking to a random dude in the inn which is the first stop into the actual main quest... Never paid attention that the recommended level of that quest is actually 33! WTF.
