You want to DESTROY the highlighted painting BEFORE she gets near it. If she manages to drain her life essence from it, you can battle her till the kingdom come or you till you expire.
It's a damn tough fight, but extremely rewarding.
I hope I answered your question :)
fought her today, wasn't too hard. Next boss will be worse.
It's not easy to get the focus on the painting when the wraith is nearby.
As soon as the wraith is rising to the ceiling, stop fighting and watch attentively which of the paintings will be illuminated.
Roll quickly to the painting. While rolling, klick at the illuminated painting. Rinse and repeat:

That's exactly what's happening.
Uhm, no, you haven't. I need to know how to estroy those pictures, but thanks for your input, you had no way of knowing that I'd already tried destroying the pictures without luck. :)
Hm, seems I'll just have to keep trying until somehow one of my hits actually lands on one of or both of the two paintings. -- I stopped using Yrden because she's all over the place, there's no way I can make stay and fight within a Yrden circle.
I've watched some Youtube videos, it didn't actually show that they hit the pictures, I just got the idea myself, but it did seem to be a fairly quick fight. Still, as I mention above, hitting the pictures hasn't worked for me so far, but I realize that's the way I have to go about it.
Very true, and it's not easy to be certain that she'll actually enter the painting and not turn around and enter the one on the opposite wall instead.
What you describe here, and what he seems to be doing in the video, is what I've been trying to do but I just can't be quick enough all the time, eventually she gets to a painting before I do. I think what I have to do is keep trying to destroy the picture, and perhaps that will only happen when it goes into that green flair mode just before she enters into it - or one of them (there are two pictures).
I think it's also possible that I've been hitting her instead of the picture at the times when she gets in anyway though there have been times when I thought she was going to one picture (because it turned green) and then she actually turned around and went to the other one instead. Still, though it looks like I'm doing exactly what he's doing in the video I may actually not have, or at least not consistently.
..........
Thanks to all of you for replying, guys. I think I have an idea about what I've been doing wrong and your replies have given me something to go on. :)
