[SOLVED] Missing one card in Novigrad!?

I have a problem:

Basically the book "guide to gwent" says im missing only one card in Novigrad, but i already completed all the quests related to it and bought every card possible from anywhere.

The checker online says i dont miss any cards so i dont really know whats the problem

Any help? :(

Maybe you missed some of them.

You can also buy some cards from the innkeepers.

And don't forget that you need to win gwent tournament without losing to anyone.

Ye i already bought every card from merchants, innkeepers, etc...
And did every quest of gwent, including winning the tournament at the Passiflora, so i dont know why...
And it cant be random cause otherwise it was in "cards u can win from random players" not in "Novigrad"

I track them by first site, and it says i miss 2 random cards, Wyvern and impenetrable frog, but the gwent book says "1 Novigrad".
Thats weird, cause i double checked and i didnt miss anything

Maybe that card in Novigrad is actually random?

You mention the High Stakes tournament at the Passiflora but did you also do the one during A Matter of Life and Death? Most people miss that and there are three cards you can win there.

There's a card you can find on Hammond's body after you kill him in Following the Thread.

There are three cards you can get after completing A Dangerous Game for Zoltan.

There are 24 people in Novigrad that you can play for their cards. Are you absolutely sure you played all of them?

2. Marquise Serenity in the Passiflora brothel
3. The alchemist at the crematory north of Oxenfurt Gate
4. The merchant in the building behind the notice board
5. The innkeep at the Nowhere Inn
6. The loanshark south-west of Oxenfurt Gate
7. The merchant across the street from the loanshark
8. The innkeep at the Seven Cats Inn, east of Tretogor Gate
9. The innkeep at Cunny of The Goose, south of the city
10. Elihal, the tailor south of Tretogor gate
11. The merchant at the market north-west of Tretogor Gate
12. Olivier, the innkeep at Kingfisher inn sells a few cards
13. Marcus T.K. Hodgson at the bookstore on Hierarch Square
14. The blacksmith in Silverton, north-west of Hierarch Square
15. The merchant across the road from the blacksmith
16. The fish seller in the small market west of Hierarch Square
17. Vimme Vivaldi, the owner of the bank
18. The blacksmith on the fish market, south of the bank
19. The innkeep at The Golden Sturgeon, west of Hierarch Square
20. The dwarven herbalist south of the fish market, across the canal
21. Zoltan at Rosemary & Thyme, near the Gate of The Hierarch (during quest)

Three cards in question of life of death? I just knew of olivier, but i already had his card and i bought the one he sold from the innkeeper succeeded to him. Aaah yeh! The little tournament! Yes ofc i did! Otherwise the quest would have been failed xD

Ye i took the three cards of zoltan in a dangerous game

Weirdo...Its possible it is random even if the book says in Novigrad?

Olivier is part of the Playing Innkeeps quest (along with Stjepan at the Alchemy Inn in Oxenfurt and the Innkeeper at the Inn at the Crossroads in Velen). You learn about Stjepan and begin that quest by playing the scholar in White Orchard.

And no, if you skip the tournament, A Matter of Life and Death won't fail. Collect 'em All! would though.

Did you check that you've played each person on that list? You might have missed one. There's more people that you can play in the game than you actually need for all of the random cards.

No yes i understood, i meant the gwent quest would have failed, but i did it i have those cards.

I wonder if the book says i miss a card in Novigrad it means it could be random earned or it must be bought somewhere

I missed Francesca from the goose inn, im so dumb xD
I swear i already bought all cards over there but i dont know for whatever reason i forgot that one hahah

I just have a question: the other site for keep track of progress says there are x3 torrential rain and x3 clear wether, while the other one says there are just x2 of them... in the game i found only x2 of both, and the gwent book says there aren't more cards, so i guess that site was wrong?

The full deck needs 3 Biting Frost, 3 Impenetrable Fog but only 2 each for Torrential Rain and Clear Weather. That site really hasn't been updated very well.

It's probably best to keep your own lists so you can better keep track of what you're missing when you play. I've always done that since my second playthrough. I'm on my seventh.

I thought I would weigh in, since I was also missing one card in Novigrad which I just found. The one I was missing was the one you get for beating Thaler, at the 7 Cats Inn. He won't appear there until after you save him during "A Deadly Plot". After doing that, you get a mission to play him in Gwent :D

Hey guess, sorry for oppening again, the discussion... I have the same problem. I replayed all characters on a list that @BuzzardBee posted and tried going back to every innkeeper and merchant and I couldn't find a card to buy (since it's under cards in Novigrad) I guess it's a bug, on my game... idk

I did all missions (inclusive the little tournament) so Idk what to do know... replayed the game just to do this mission... I want to complete it.
