a deadly plot - troll cave

for some reason i did this quest and i cannot get the ? around the troll cave to turn discovered, does anyone know about this?

Hmmm, must be a bug. I am doing this quest right at this moment and when I walked far enough into the cave, the ? disappeared.

Ok, so it reappeared when I came back out.............so Im guessing it represents something else? Maybe something above the cave?

It's because that cave is normally a nekker lair, but because of the quest it turns into the troll lair... it's kinda wierd but if you went down there before the quest and killed the nekkers the ? would be marked as discovered

You also may try to finish quest A deadly plot. Then you change your location(as example you may visit Vizima). An return back. The cave became discovered and nekkers appear there.

There are a few caves that remain marked as if uncleared.
