Looking for Devourer blood?!

I've searched the deepest webs for an answer to this, alas I'm left in a loss.

Oh man i hated the devourers at first... They would always kill me when they died. It made me learn to use the quen sign, and now it's my favourite sign !

They actually give you ~3 seconds to roll away when they prepare to explode. Thats just a wasted quen.

That's the quite the simpler answer but I just found out you can get a gaurentee drop of Devourer's blood (since they're kinda rare) in Toderas village to the very east of the map in Velen.

Help the villagers then come back after 24 hours, lo and behold its a godamn Devourer's farm.

True, I confused the devourers for rotfiends !

Nah, I confused, the rotfiends give you time and devourers explode the last moment.

There's an abandoned village in the eastern part of Velen with a waypoint marker. When you go there for the first time you will meet two groups of bandits and one bandit will say something like "go away witcher, there are no monsters here" and Geralt will answer that he can actually see a lot of monsters, which will start a fight. If you come back later, devourers will be there. That's how I got their blood.

you can go to fyke isle. go west from the waypoint marker towards the ampitheatre, there is a pack of 6 rotfiends or so
