Djinn Very Strong One Hit K.O. (Last Wish)

I was playing TW3 and forget the Last Wish Side Quest and i was already doing Ugly Baby, i see that Last Wish had failed so i loaded my last saved game and started that quest.
Once i started to fight the Djinn, every hit he gives me is a Hit Kill, sometimes even with quen up he kills me, i don't konw what to do, but it is impossible to fight him...
My attacks almost don't damage him, i'm saving and attacking, right now he is half of HP, but it's even harder now, my lvl is 21.

Grease up your blade with elemental oil, throw a dimeritium bomb at him and turn off lvl upscale for the fight if you haven't done all that already.

i turned off the lvl upscale, really helped, impossible with it on... tnx guys

Right move, level scaling is broken on that fight.

yeah throw Dimeritium bomb at him, did you actually tried this when you give this advice? cos I have patch 1.31 right now and yet this bomb does NOT work at all ... Djinn and other mages does not even give ♥♥♥♥ about that bomb and they still casting right in that green cloud. It pisses me off so much how is this even possible 2 years after release and still does not work? Am I missing something or what

I have used the bombs multiple times in this fight and I've walked away with this: They shouldn't render the Djinn completely useless, but set a damper on his elemental attacks. That being said, it can teleport out of the cloud making the bombs almost worthless in the fight - they work, just not as effectively as you might want them to, and merely attacking the damn thing is a better use of your time, especially since the cloud also hinders Geralts already limited magic which, for me, was a big deal.
