2. Depends, weapons and armor tend to be horrible loot most of the time, money and crafting materials can be pretty handy though if you know what to do with them.
So, the game kinda demands you to search for those extra skill points?
Well it doesn't "demand" you to do so, but it does help alot if you want to, say, fully explore two branches of the same skill tree, because you really can't go too deep with these in your initial playthrough.
For instance, being level 52 and having found every single place of power in the game during a single playthrough, I've only managed to max out 3 lines of the skill three, leaving all the others seriously underdeveloped (Not saying this is good or bad, just that it's something, plus you can always respec your skills for a very cheap price anyway).
