Scavenger Hunt Griffin School Quest Progression Bug [FIXED IT!]

Im stuck at the part of the scavenger hunt where you acquire a piece from the Lornruk Abandoned Lighthouse, but i was already there before i enabled the quest. Now that the loot isn't there, the scav hunt wont progress.

EDIT: Turns out i missed a part of the tower. if anyone is curious; its a ladder directly next to the door that leads outside where you come out of the underwater enterance.
