Report a translation problem
- Hearts of Stone can contain a hint on how best to solve some problems in the main story so it's better to start it before you get a message with a recommendation to save.
- Blood and Wine contains some references to your main story finale so it looks like it's better to start it after the last main quest.
I haven't finished the game EVER, but from my understanding some of the endings are very...final. With that in mind, how does Blood and Wine play out then?
Also, could you elaborate more on this "message"?
HoS can help you with the outcome of the main story,but the expansion might be hard if you're low-level (but if I remember correctly,30-32ish is fine)
BaW is best after the main story.

I think you can finish BaW no matter what ending you got.
The message you get will help you act in certain situations "correctly".
Finish your main quest and complete all secondary quests which are being progressed now. Otherwise they will be marked failed if you start the next main quest. Then start the Hearts and so on
