I need help! (High Stakes)
Now I will get criticized about this but I don't care. I know what I did and I just want to know if there's any way to fix it.
So I've been messing around with console commands for a while. And recently I've come across the High Stakes gwent quest. I am now assuming that because I used the addgwintcards command now I cannot start the quest becuase it always shows that my deck rating is 0/5 and every card I win against someone or every match I play and win or no matter how many cards I buy it always stays at 0/5 and I just can't advance this quest further. I just want to know if there's any way to just complete the quest using a console command or somehow get the 5/5 rating using any method necesary. I am way too far in the game now to replay everything just for this. Thanks in advance.
NOTE : For those of you who wanna help me, you can ask me any kind of questions if you need more information about this. But this is pretty much the start and end of it.

All right mate, thanks alot. I think I'll start up a new game but not now. Once I finish the game completely.
Okay I know this discussion is over a year old but for the sake of anyone else also seeking for help, this quest is still doable with the addgwintcards command, you just need to complete all the Gwent quest in Velen Novigrad and Skellige, then win a few more cards from the blacksmiths and merchants in CrowsPerch. My rating went from 0/5 to 5/5 just by winning these cards.

he may be able to set those quests completed though but god knows what corresponding variable names're in console... or as MP wrote above do just enough gwent quests normal way to get deck strength counters up high enough.

This is really ticking me off. I've done Velen and the novigrad gwent quests and got the cards in crows perch as well as Gwent: old pals and I'm still sitting at 3/5 -.- I'm even holding the cards from the "a dangerous game" quest and nothing. Googled this to see if I could just console command all the cards. Guess not, what gives -.-

Ah, I did big city players and got to 5/5 cool lol

So essentially getting those same cards again that were added with the console command, which defeats the entire point of using the command in the first place.

Wow again this post is really old but it seems someone mite have pissed in your boots that morning. There is no reason to ♥♥♥♥♥ about someone who proved you wrong dude. I will see if this works if it does not then oh well. still does not give you the right to bee a douche bag.

Forgive me for sh!tting on your perfect vision of the game.

It realy just seems like you really trying to ♥♥♥♥ on a game for no reason dude. Anyway there is a way to play the quest with the console command did it today in fact. You just have to beat enough people and get more of the hero cards. I have even used the console command 3 times myself. Proving why your wrong and that is why your mad. READ MY COMMEMT AGAIN. Never did I say that your a douche bag for saying that the guy was a cheater I said your a douche bag for trying to call out someone who had no ill intent to you what so ever .

P.S Before you try to turn my words around to prove your right read my comments, but don't worry it's what haters do best. Second do some studying before you comment you littleraly have no proof that this was a bug or if it was not. If it was a bug I guess patch 1.3.1 fixed it, but im sure just doing all the gwint quest triggers it as well.

P.S.S And actually you did acuse people of cheating did you not say this "So don't cheat and use that command unless you are willing to face the consequences that the game may glitch out on you, and rightfully so, because you already have the very cards it's telling you that you need and reaquiring them may not fix it.

Play the damn game as intended. It's glitchy enough without adding to the mess.", but i digress. Funny what the magical power of reading can do, just seems like people think it's too much effort these days. Sigh typical hypocrits. Really thats the best you can come up with? The game is glitchy? You know how many glitches I have ran 2 in the 5 playthoughs I have played on PC. PS4, and Xbox one? 0, but of course in your eyes if something goes wrong with a game it's a glitch right. I guess that this game did not win 250 game of the year titles and over 800 awards as well right? Moron.

Fairwell douche bag.

I know this a very old post, but I just came across with it. Well, I found a working workaround. Just keep adding cards with the additem command and your deck rating should go up. Example:

additem('gwint_card_katakan')

I can confirm at least for my situation I was in the same situation that the first person was in the beginning and Estus Flask's tactic worked.

This has helped me. Don't care that it was posted half-a-decade ago. It helped me tremendously.

I found an EXACT SOLUTION to this bug.

To fix this bug you should use your Witcher 3 console command 'addfact()' and put the following in the parenthesis, one at a time (pressing the Enter key after each line):

addfact('GwentTournamentObjective1')
addfact('GwentTournamentObjective2')
addfact('GwentTournamentObjective3')
addfact('GwentTournamentObjective4')
addfact('HasGwentTournamentDeck')
