Blood and wine performance question
Does the expansion run better than the main game on pc I hear a lot about it running better for console but not much info about it on pc

Yes, the Toussaint map runs better than the main game areas on both versions, however there are a few spots here and there that run absolutely terrible.

One bit of crossroads-like area in "The Land of A Thousand Fables", part of the Blood and Wine storyline. Whether you end up there or not depends entirely on your choices, but there is a spot in there that will bring your framerate to 16 or so if you were normally playing with about 40 ~ 45.

The above was all on a mix of high and ultra settings, of course, so mileage may vary depending on your settings. Just be warned though, that area is extremely laggy in particular.

It runs slightly better than the main game on my PC (i7, AMD HD 7970, Win 7). That said, I generally get 60 fps in the main game, with occasional drops to maybe 35 - 40.

with my 960 4gb at high 1080p all other places in Velen is a steady 60fps... drops to 40 at Novigrad lmao and the CPU usage shoots up like hell.
