grrrr.. Found this "hand" symbol when holding witcher senses under water...

Diving around a elven ruin, I come across this "hand" symbol, only visible when witcher senses are active. How to interact with it? - I just cant do anything with it! - Symbol is on wall of underwater elven ruin.
Things like this drives me nuts!! - Grrrrrrrr

I believe that's the symbol for "portal".

If it's in the middle of a lake in Toussaint, that's related to a very important side quest that you get early on in Beauclair.

Its all south in the lake from the prison isle - the quest for the elvan treasure?

You can't interact with that hand yet.

But you will be able to later in the story.

Did you do the quest to gain the new mutatgens?

Turn and Face the Strange. That's the quest that that symbol pertains to.
