Fortified Raffard's Decoction
G'day - without spoilers ... at a certain point in the game, you make a decision where one of the possible results is to receive a Fortified Raffard's decoction.

(I chose the other thing, which seemed more sensible)

Having done so, I'm wondering if the Fortified Raffard's Decoction is a permanent additional recipe .. like does alcohol replenish it .. is it better than a Superior White Rafford's Decoction.

I've completed all my formulae except for one oil .. for the White Rafford's Decoction it was basic > enhanced > superior

So now, when I meditate, I replenish (I think it's) 3 Superior White Rafford's Decoction.

What happens if I make the choice where I get a fortified one .. is it a one-use potion, or does it permanently change my potion outlay /

Make a save game and find out. I've had superior in all 3 of my playthroughs, but not once did I find fortified.

600 hours... Not once have I ever seen a fortified potion. IF it exist at all it's probably something that got added in the last DLC.

I'm think he means superior because I looked at some of the guides on google and nothing comes up.

Cap can you give us an in game screenshot?

You can get it during the attack on Kaer Morhen if you choose to make potions.

Don't know the answer to OP's question though.

Oh that makes sense. I'd have to reload a few saves back to get it then. What's the difference?

Scratch that, my info was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Reloaded the save and got a Thunderbolt, Superior Swallow and a Perun runestone.

It's randomized. I got enhanced swallow and enhanced thunderbolt.
Originally got the advice from a guide website that mentions it as a reward when Vessimir asks you to choose between repairing the Lab (potions) or the Workshop (witcher traps).

I chose the workshop so was curious ..

(It mentions Fortified White Rafford's as a reward)

I doubt it's a recipe, it's probably just a one-use thing like the dimithirium (?) bombs they give you .. and when it says fortified, yeah it probably means enhanced .. but wanted to check if anyone knew for sure
