Blood and Wine - Feet as Cold as Ice quest strangeness
So, after the part where you approach the cave and are greeted by Francois you're transported to a tent near by. When you use the witcher sense around the tent there is a chest that has a snoring sound with red eminating from it, but no way to open it. What's that about?

Uh. That shouldn't have happened at all. There should be no transporting to a tent.

When I did this quest I accepted it and he ran out of the cave, I ran in to fight Grattore, he ran back in with me, and I promptly ran back out because Grattore was 7 levels higher than me and destroying me.

I came back at lvl 47 and the dude had killed Grattore all on his own. Still didn't teleport me to a tent, either.

To be fair, the part where I went to the tent was part of a cutscene. He did run out of the cave, but then we discussed the situation with Grottore at the tent. It's strange that you seem to have gotten a different cutscene.

there is the chest.
it seems to have nothing to do with the quest because I've finished Grottore and still this chest snores. lol
I've also tried to figure out if the noise was underground or not, but it is most certainly coming from that chest.

I cant even start this quest....I mean, I found the cave, and Fransico was alseep outside of it. He told me what was going on, and we went in...though he died (probably because he went in without me). I killed the beast, and it updated a quest I didnt have. So I looked it up, and saw that I had to go to the Nilfgaard Embassy..but the doors are lucked, and there is no exclamation point.

Evidently there are 2 ways to start this quest because I got it from his betrothed who was worried about him in Beuclait,

If you start the quest that way then when you approach his camp he is sleeping against that crate and his snoring is what allows you to pinpoint his location.

That's how I started this quest, too. The weird part is that, even after finishing the quest (the guy was still alive and well when I finished it), the snoring sound is still present near the tent.
Even after I came back there several days later walking toward another quest.
Definitely a bug.

Yeah, the snoring persists after the quest, as well as the Witcher Senses from it. Which is funny, because I discovered it while following the bird for the tourney quest.
