(Bug: Freezing) Arinbjorn Blacksmith conversation.

Whenever I pick the shopping option and then move to the crafting window and then try to get out of the conversation with the Blacksmith in Arinbjorn, Skellige Isles I end up getting stuck midway through exiting the conversation.
Geralt and the Blacksmith simply stand there and I have no conversation options. Sometimes the subtitles on the previous sentence said by either Geralt or the Blacksmith gets displayed and doesn't go away.
The first time this happened I could hear shopping window audio (the SFX of selecting items in the shopping/trading/crafting window).

The longest I've possibly waited is about 1 min. I resorted to ending The Witcher 3 via Task Manager (fortunately can still use Ctrl + Alt + Del).

Has anyone else had this problem with conversations?
Particularly, has anyone else experienced this with the Blacksmith in Arinbjorn?

On Windows 10 laptop.
I have all the expansions and DLCs installed including the latest Blood & Wine (31st May).

yup, exact same thing happened to me

Heya, I've found a fix, but it requires having the debug console mod installed (I'm on 1.31 GOG version, btw).
Hit F2 to open the console, then use the command to switch you char to being Ciri, which is funnily enough just "Ciri" (no quotes, with uppercase C) and it will pull you out of the stuck conversation. Then just type "Geralt" to switch back and bob's your mother's brother.

Is that a permanent fix?

Ran into the same issue, however it seems like it works just you cannot use 1-5 for selections BUT down arrow and enter still works as proper input, so just hit down 5 times and enter and it will let you continue the conversation as usual. ( at least this worked for me )
