I know that just like the manticore, but at least the manticore has bonuses for a full set. Viper does not. ITs a flaw.

Viper armour is introduced in a diffrent dlc, it's why you don't need the wolven gear to get grandmaster versions of it since wolven armour is dlc. Manticore is also on grandmaster tier.

Such a shame. The majority of people appreciate how the Wolven armor looks, but a lot of people will agree that the Venomous Viper armor is simply the best looking armor in the game.

It is still a solid set thankfully but had hoped for a higher level as well. Too bad I suppose.

So, I could care less about the Armor, what I really, Really want is a Grand Master Viper Steel Sword. I really Like the Poison chance, and wish the game had multiple levels of all the Viper Gear, just so I could have the Steel Sword be upgradable, and therefore, Useful, throughout the Game.

Although I have the enhanced viper set, no superior or above. No set bonuses. IMO the best looking armor is the viper set, but I prefer grandmaster feline set (without the hood).

Ya one thing you can do to try to make the armor usable later in the game is there is a mod on Nexusmods that will auto-level your gear when your character levels up that will bump its attributes to make it so your gear isn't automatically made worthless 10 minutes after you get it. :)
