Dark Iron Plate??

Trying to craft relic quality Toussaint Knight's Armour CHEST level 47, it says the ingredient needed is DARK IRON PLATE...

Now ... I don't have it in my recipes, sure as hell haven't seen it around in shops or anywhere either... I made relic quality Toussaints Knight's Armour LEGS level 47... it used DARK STEEL PLATE..

Is this just a mistake with the recipe? Am I missing something here?

Bit rusty with this game and I and cannot remember if I need diagrams for the Dark _Iron_ Plate or if it simply just does not exist :P

Can do Dark Iron Ingots but no plate.

I am on the same page. I cannot find the Dark IRON plate anywhere.
Wanted to put a set of this on an armor stand, but cannot find what I want :P.
One more note: I have cleaned all the question marks on the map, no sign of Dark IRON Plate anywhere.

Alright so at least one other person I know of has this same issue, I am NOT going crazy then! :D

I just wanted to wear it to be honest!!

I use plate armour vs humans and witcher armour vs monsters lol :P

The old Impera Brigade Plate is getting a bit past its prime at this level!

It definitely seems random, because the Toussain Knights TOURNEY trousers, needs IRON Plate, but the normal Toussain Knights trousers, do not!

huh I am just using the grandmaster set. but I have different swords with different runes for different situations :P. Armors are just for collection.

Same problem here... it has to be a typo on the part of the devs. Why would the highest leveled armor in the game require iron instead of steel? Makes no sense, steel is stronger than iron.

Hi, this formula as many different formulas is a random drop, and you can find it anywhere in the game.
However i suggest you start searching for different armorsmith to buy the formula or black plate itself from there.

2 hours of farming, i suppose i saw every armorsmith in the game three times already and still nothing ! it will take a while i guess^^

I am facing the same problem, can't find any dark iron plate diagrams, or someone that sells it.
