Report a translation problem
Tell the witch you want to lift the curse yourself. Then go to the cave down the hill and look for the bones of Daphnes husband. Later when you go back to the cursed tree, Geralt burns the napkin AND the bones. This should give you the good ending as well.

You might not have a choice in wanting the good ending for the ghost without humbling yourself
If I remember correctly, on top of a small ledge inside the cave, though I do not remember exactly
