Orianna Info? [SPOILERS]
So after finishing blood and wine this is now my main menu http://imgur.com/nU3G44P

Geralt said he was going to kill her, as everyone has probably worked out she is the vampire from the 'a night to remember' trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehjJ614QfeM

Now if you check in the characters section her entery ends with 'Geralt swore that if they ever met again.....'

What I want to know is has anybody actually found her? is the fight from the trailer actually playable? or what I think it more likely to be this is just fore shadowing and a very awesome kind of easter egg from CDPR.

What do you guys think?

I would be very interested in that, too. I'd really really reaaaaaaaaally pay that wench a visit since I could not finish my business right away.

Well I really think it was just a reference for those who knew this trailer. The end of Orianna's arc IS this trailer, and it's why it's amazing. I don't think it will be playable.
As soon as I saw her face, by the way, I thought "damn, she looks just like this lady from the trailer..."
And when she began singing her tune towards the end of the game I was completely dead over how amazing CDPR's writing is. Really, really cool turn of event.

Yeah I am inclined to agree with you, fantastic writing and tbh a fitting end to her story.

Gotta say I am extremely disappointed that we don't get to kill that ♥♥♥♥♥. It was such a disgusting scene her feeding from that kid. Would have loved to slay her.

I am pretty sure now that the start menu screen must be the fishing hut next to the inn on the bridge. You can define the inn and the bridge clearly by looking at it, though the distance to the castle isn't right and the hut does not exactly look like the one in the start menu. I'm pretty sure that it's just a mash-up of some important things from the expansion (starting point, vampire hunt, Orianna).

Also, it does not look like the barn in the trailer, not nearly like it. That barn is way bigger and does not have a similiar roof. I'm pretty sure it's not the same situation. Maybe Geralt begins to hunt her in that hut, but she escapes and he finishes her off elsewhere.

I'm also trying to geograhically locating her position, we're in the same boat. Trying to kill her aswell. CDPR must have made it so you can play that scene. No 2 ways about it.

Be a good man and notify us here if you find her.

When I first saw her in game, I thought: ♥♥♥♥, that MUST be her! But I still wasnt 100% sure until she sang the song to the kid..
I would really really like to "rewatch" the Night to remember trailer ingame, if you know what I mean :D Yes, Geralt told her that next time they meet, he will kill her, but I sadly think that only refer to the trailer, also the music, what its played, when he said that is from the trailer as well. I would guess now, because the game didnt show us next quest after that with objective to kill her later, that sadly it´s all been only prequel quest to the trailer, some sort of "devs easter egg" to show players, that they still remember their trailers and that that one was from Toussaint. Or maybe if we,players, will find that house from starting menu, there will be only clues after the fight, idk. Btw I have the start menu with Geralt meditating before fight with her since I bought BaW, not when I finished the dlc (still didnt). On the other hand, the hut is different than in the trailer, could be because the trailer was released year or so before the DLC and so,but then why change the house? It could be lead, so if anyone find it ingame, please share it here, or any other information. It would be a super cool easter egg, if the trailer would be playable. Its CDR after all :)
On a note, that menu is been like that since the release of the expansion. Before even starting the adventure, you could see her wandering around inside the hut. Even a friend who hasn't started the expansion (He wants to beat NG+ before) told me about Orianna in his menu.

Absolutely was not like that for me, I had the heart of stone one even with the main game and the DLC cleared. Played the game over a number of days and it did not change until I finished the main story. Dont know why but for me and a number of other people thats the case.

Maybe it was a bug, maybe you didn't notice. What I do know is that me, like many, could see Orianna on the menu before beating the DLC.

Is in Russian, but you can see that it was uploaded the day of release and notice the DLC screen you get whenever you install the expansion. And there she is, our dear Orianna.

If im honest I dont really care. Im not sure why you seem so adament to prove me wrong when I know that it didnt change for me until I beat the game. It has nothing to do with what the focus of my post is about anyway, it was an opening comment on what I was seeing and how it got there. End of discussion.

Because you mentioned that, simple. Take it or leave it.

While I havn't been able to find her, I do find it rather curious that if you should return to Orianna's house in Beauclair after going after the unseen elder it is locked, whereas if you went after syanna it isn't!!!

P.S: robse100 great taste in profile pics :D
