trastamara cottage help (spoilers)

During the main quest at this location there is a locked door in the basement that I just can't find the key to, the spoonkey is for another quest.

Does anyone know the location of te key needed?

Looking for the same thing. Anyone know? There are herbs behind this door and when using witcher sense you can hear things too, so there is definitely something there.

If you choose to kill the Spotted Wight, the key will be on its corpse.
If you lift the curse and do not kill her, you cannot get the key.

The door's only purpose is a shortcut exit from the house.
There is only junk loot in the room and another door that opens to the entrance to the property.
You can find this other door from the outside, but it too is locked without the key.
