Can't start Blood & Wine with existing character
I have an existing level 70 character and I can't start blood and wine with that character. Supposedly going to Mulbrydale, notice board, and accepting the quest Appeal to Sir Geralt of Rivia, the bridge his Crest launches Blood and Wine, but there are no notices on the board. Also, A poet under pressure is supposed to be completed on this board as well. Unfortunately there are no contracts on this board. Not sure what I am supposed to do

Poet Under Pressure is part of the main questline, not a contract from a board.

You have to complete that quest before you can start B&W.

This has been explained to death.

When you complete Poet Under Pressure the quest to start B&W will automatically be added to your journal. The game tells you this the first time you start the game after installing B&W.

I know that Poet under pressure needs to be completed, do you have to be at a certain point in the game to start Poet under pressure? When I go to the board that is said to contain the contract for poet under pressure there are no contracts. Will that contract only appear at a certain point in the game, like after certain quests have been completed?

... It's part of the main quest.

So a certain amount of the main quest has to be completed before A poet under pressure can be started? I wish that would be explained better. I completed Witcher 3 quite a while ago, started a new game with Game+ using same character, so I am near the beginning of the game just after killing the Griffon, added the Blood and Wine Expansion, went to Mulbrydale to grab the Poet under pressure contract and the board has no contracts on it.

Sounds like your going to have to play through a great deal of the game.Thats a pretty late quest. Thats not a bad thing. The game is fantastic even on the 2nd time through. Gives you a chance to do things you did not do the first time also.

Poet under pressure is when you rescue dandelion bud.

Thats kind of what I thought. I think that needs to be more up front that you can't just start the poet quest at any time. Either way, I just started a new game of Blood and Wine with new character.
