Showing the five embodiment of virtue to get the sword in the water?

Anyone know what quests are the ones that show the five embodiments of the virtues?

figured out compassion. If you dont kill the silver baskalis and turn down the extra money you get the virtue.

The only one I still need to do is Wisdom, at the time I accepted this quest all were completed except that. Can't figure out what it is.

Hey i see you got the achievement, can you give me a hint or the quest location to what the Wisdom virtue is?

But .. I think I've mastered each of them .. how do I become the Avatar ?

There are multiple ways to get each of them so if you did something wrong relax - there is another chance. You will gain them mainly through the quests, but spoiling choices and quests playthough is bad. You'll figure it out ;>

Can you please tell another way to get the virtue of compassion? I just have killed this silver rooster, and i am afraid to mess up again

Not killing the sharley on the arena seem to do the trick. Other than that, I think that any act of sparing anyone will do... just as not picking up the fight at a chance will pass as wisdom check.

- Side Quest: Mutual of Beauclair's Wild Kingdom - Decide not to kill the Silver basilisk

Valor:
- Side Quest: Mutual of Beauclair's Wild Kingdom - Kill the Silver basilisk.

Wisdom:
- Side Quest: Gwent: TO Everything - Turn, Turn, Tournament! - Win the tournament.

does anyone knows where i can get the generosity one ?

EDIT: You can have it if you buy the painting from the side quest with the painter (sorry i don't have the name in english, but it's1000 crows)

EDIT 2: you can have the Compassion vertue if in the main quest La Cage Au Fou choose to
lift the curse, then follow the odor and bring back to your house the old woman.
then you'ill need to wait until a quest pop up asking to check on her, and finally choose the dialogue option where you tell her to stay in your house.

Am I the only one who didn't know getting the sword was tied to any quests? I just talked to the hermit and he said I was worthy off the bat..Judging by what everyone is saying, I should have only had generosity and compassion.

yeah me too he started the duel with right off and i dont know how i got all these five virtues and it was early in the game that i got it too i hope it didnt bugged and gave me the sword for free

3 chances in main quests, 5 chances in side quests - I don't want to spoil you all the choices but the possibility to miss out on all the 8 options is low, so you will get it for sure, just play ;>
