Gaunter O'Dimm in Blood and Wine Expansion
So far, as I understand it, Gaunter O'Dimm's influence in Blood and Wine is present. The first instance is more of a theory. When you first speak with Regis in the cemetary he talks about methods for contacting another higher vampire. During this sequence he mentions that his last resort would be to contact a being with the resources and even power to summon a higher vampire willing or not. He also goes on to say that contact with this being would be extremely dangerous for both Geralt and himself. Noting that dealing with it would require focus to that of walking on a string over molten lava. The second instance is when dealing with the wight. If the curse is lifted, Geralt will bring her home and speak about the victim's situation with B.B. meanwhile as he describes the curse, the unmistakable tune of Gaunter O'Dimm is playing in the background. Geralt also conveys that a beggar broke a spoon and cast the curse upon the woman, something a normal person woul not be able to do unless it was O'Dimm or someone bound to O'Dimm's contract, similar to Olgierd and the Frog Prince. It's also interesting to note how a reflection was a part of the curse, even though this could just have been circumstantial as the explaination implies due to her beauty. Though this curse would have been cast decades earlier, this would be another excert of Master Mirror's activities within the witches series.

There was also a letter that said the vagrant she believed cursed her sold mirrors. It was definitely Gaunter O'Dimm.

Actually a really cool analysis, never noticed this part or his music, only really when Regis had that look when asked if there was another way and of course the broken mirrors.

His name is mentioned in the letter in the monster's house. I've got screen of that, unfortunately in Polish, but it says "...man who sold mirrors....". PLOT TWIST

The beggar was selling MIrror's, so ya it was Gaunter O'Dimm 100%

The first clue isn't correct. It is explained later who the being is, and it ain't Gaunter. The second is correct.

Came here to see if anyone else noticed that letter, I was in awe of when I heard his theme. I didn't understand though why O'Dimm wanted to cast a curse on Marlene. Just for kicks or was there another "client" like Olgierd who wanted to see Marlene suffer back then?

Just realized how Odimm killed a guy with a spoon in the eye in the hearts of stone dlc. So spoons are actually an ongoing theme with him. amazing!

Yeah, I was a little suspicious that some random vagrant could cast such a powerful curse since usually such curses tend to be fairly weak compared to what a mage might cast. Then I read the note about how the victim could only remember that he sold mirrors. She also thought the herbalist left because the side effects would be so bad, but I suspect the herbalist realized what she was dealing with, and didn't want to stay. We've seen what Guanter does to people who meddle, or even annoy him, so I'd leave too.

Gotta love how he keeps coming up. Like how you can find the dwarves that took Geralt's boat later who had just stolen an item, and their buyer was Guanter. After hearing that, I thought it might have been better for them if I had turned them in.

As Makro says, the first instance you mention is someone else but it is not guaranteed that you will meet them.

If you are into detective work, you can also try collecting the references to movies, tv shows, rock musicians etc.

Really, do you have proof? never seen him. Especially interested in the bank and crowd

I haven't ever seen him in the background of any Blood and Wine scenes, and I don't think he is in them at all for the sake of keeping your story canon if you decided to challenge him which results in his temporary banishment. You can, however, see him in the background of several Hearts of Stone cutscenes, starting with when you take Olgierd's notice at the Seven Cats Inn; in this instance you have a fraction of a second to spot him. You can google search O'Dimm in the background or look up videos on youtube if you wish to see him stalking Geralt.

Is it just me or does the majordomo you meet in Corvo Bianco look identical and talks just like Gaunter O'dimm? His interaction with Geralt at the end of the wight mission is also interesting, and reminds me of O'dimm.
