Non existent ghost peasant screams

While i was sailing around fyke isle using keira's boat, i went to the small island where the treasure hunt quest Sunken Chest is and when i passed over the area where drowners swam using the boat, i heard screams as if when you raise swords or battle near peasants or townsmen. I landed on the island and 3 dead peasants were there around a campfire then when drowners popped out and attacked me, i heard peasant screams again. Whenever i used igni around, non existent peasants would scream as if they were ghosts. I looked around but there werent any peasant npcs around. I even wondered if maybe they were hiding above the arch of the ruins on that island since it was the only place i couldnt get to. I started the quest of Sunken Chest and found out the ruins were formerly a bridge. When i looted all the chests around the waters of the island, dispatched all the drowners an finished the quest, i came back to the island and tried casting igni again around the place but there were no more screams. I know it must just be some bug but i found it funny and they might even be ghastly screams of the peasants that died in that sunken bridge lol. I even checked the place with the magic lamp given by keira but there was no one there. Anyways, anyone had the same experience? Lol

Edit: lol i stand corrected on the screams stopping. i landed on fyke isle and the sight of rotfiends evoked strange peasant screams around Geralt.

I got those random peasant screams in forest hut and when fighting Arachas Bethemold in velen :)

dont worry about the screams. they are just there to greet you and distract you so you will die , thats all. Do not fret. Do not search for them. Leave them ALONE! THEY HAVE A JOB TO DO.

use the magic lamp keira gave you and look at the green stuff and watch them

lol there were no greenstuff where the peasants were screaming. i now finished the towerful of mice quest and it seems no peasant screams were heard anymore or as of yet when any ghoul, rotfiend, or drowner attacked. oh yeah the place where i landed on fyke isle where screams could be heard was on the other side of the island from Vserad and alexander the mage's tower. it was at the quest marker given in the quest by keira at the leftmost tip of the island if seen in the map.

I heard the screaming in the same place too. On the west most part of Fyke Isle where the rotfiends were.
