For example, my grandmaster feline armor is providing much better protection than the sets of Nilfgardian plate I'm finding since it offers a 30% reduction on monsters and a 70% reduction on elemental damage (the type of damage that specters deal), while the plate armor offers no resistance to either of those.
But quests and enemies still do? Or has that been fixed too?
I mean, yeah, they'd have to cheat for it I'm sure, but curious as to how the NG+ would play out.
Gear tops out at 100, so once you get there, you'll never have to worry about level requirements. OTOH, Aerondight is about useless if you get it at level 100. It's seriously under your level as far as requirements, but since you can't gain any more levels, it won't scale more than the initial 30 damage points. Should have held onto the one from the regular playthrough.
Monsters will generally top out at 100, but I've run into a couple of 102s and 103s. Not often, but enough to notice it. Nothing red-skulled since hitting 100, though. And I haven't seen a quest level over 100 (I'm in B&W and they're all 100).
Yes, I'm still using the original Aerondight. The NG+ version just could not scale enough with the level cap and would never catch up with the original.
