will changing difficulty mid-game affect achievments?!

just started playing at "story and sword" difficulty and im finding it ridiculously easy!

planing to raise it a notch or might go for death march even


my question is if i raised it will this affect achiecments?


my other concern is, what if i find deathmarch a little too much and then wanted to lower it a bit, will lowering the difficulty mid-game affect achievments or anything?

sniffing around in google and apparently raising difficulty wont affect achievments, can any body confirm?

You will ONLY get Death March achievement if you play whole game from start to finish without ever changing difficulty. Same with Blood and Broken Bones achievement, as soon as you lower difficulty you will not get that anymore.

By playing the game through once on Death March you can earn 3 achievements in one go: Passed the Trial, Ran the Gauntlet and Walked the Path.
