arachnomorphs infuriating.
These arent even fun to fight. They back up faster than your sword swings and can dodge igni the same way. Ive only ever been able to axii, then hit them like once or twice before they go right back to just run away, web, strike. This doesnt feel like a well designed enemy, its just irritating.

Does anyone have advice for dealing with them? at this point i may just ignore that entire dlc. I do not mind hard fights, but those are simply not fun.

You just have to time the attacks right. They are one of the more challenging enemies in the game, especially in large groups.

Let them web you and then bomb them when they move in.

Yeah, was annoyed by them also, especially in the latest DLC(Blood and Wine?).
Haven´t played it a while but I remember that freezing bomb worked against them. Though probably would get webbed by the time allmighty beast slayer manages to grab the bomb in the end.
Else it´s pretty much dodge, dodge, wait them to attack, swing back, repeat, die, savescum:P

Try to herd them in one place and freeze them with a bomb and beat the .... out of them till they don´t move. Or separate them and take them 1 on 1, the rest might go back to spawn point meanwhile.

just throw fire bombs at them

ya they are more difficult.....but you just attack....move back......dodge.....you cant chase them because they are too fast...you need to wait till they come back to attack you before you attack.....i found that if you attack them and continuallly hit them you can get quite a few hits in because they are stunned.

Use Yrden on them. It will paralyze them.
