0xc00007b error(fixed)

when launching the game i get an error with the code 0xc00007b.

i tried any possible solution i could find on the internet but nothing seems to work, i reinstalled the gave twice on two different hard drives and it also didn't work.

did anyone else dealed with this issue and actually managed to fix it?

run the game from the game folder .exe and NOT from your steam library or icon. hopefully an error msg appears not hidden by steam.

i've tried that as well and sadly it doesnt work :/ its the only game that does that to me, im having no problem playing other games as well

without another error msg there is no one fix. nothing in windows event viewer or windows reliability history?

windows key + x brings up a menu - event viewer in there
in windows search, type in reliability and reliability history should be only choice

what do i do in event viewer, how do i find the issue that belongs to the witcher 3?

open up wwindows logs then applications. might be system error msgs or hopefully the game registered something before it crashed

its also the first and the only game that ever did this kind of error to me.

without a better error msg, cannot tell whether your pc has windows/library problem.
or you have something installed (like a work app) that is causing the issue.

bring up a command window with admin permission and run the windows checker
sfc /scannow
maybe it will find/repair something

it didnt find any integrity violations so im guessing its something else

and last thing I can think of. game also came with this:

you did not mention if you have any mods?

if you have a newer nvidia card, turn OFF weapon debris. game just crashes with weapon debris on but I do not believe it produces this error.
