Griffin mission: First Crossbow

ok so i started playing tw3 and.. level 23 of the first crossbow? Is it normal to have such high level compared to the one i was (like lvl 3/4)?

There is no Griffin crossbow. The only two schools that have crossbows are the Feline (Cat) and Ursine (Bear). There are plenty of other crossbows in the game, including three that are part of the free DLCs. Feline and Ursine are the only two that include a crossbow.

I never said it was a griffin crossbow. I only meant the one that they give you when you just killed the griffin. I asked if it is meant to be such a high level

Don't remember my exact level at the time, but pretty sure I beat the first griffin below level 7

The first crossbow you get from Vesemir before the fight and it's the common crossbow, why should it be level 23? The reward for killing the Griffin is only money as far as I remember.

Did you travel all around the place in Vizima before fighting the griffin? I'm 30+ hours in, still level 14 and have traveled so far away from that mission.

I didi all missions and searched curiosities in the first area, and ended up like lvl 3/4.
