Blacksmith in novigrad gone all of a sudden and won't come back [SOLVED]

I'm talking about the one near the docks, not the quest one. I tried meditating, waiting a day, reloading - nothing works. Should I load an eariler save or what?

Edit : I went to another blacksmith ( still not the quest one ) and he was also missing. After walking around at some distance he respawned randomly, however the one in the docks only appeared after I meditated for 1 hour

no it's just another glitch. I get him to reappear by just slowly walking away down to the bridge and roughly at the point on the minimap where he should be is just about to go off the map he just reappears don't know if this works for everyone but it does for me, give it a try.

But even his minimap icon is gone, like he just despawned.

yeah it does that. try walking to the one in hierarch square then walk back that might work.

Wolves in novigrad? nope lol. But I've seen some people get stabbed by bandits so that might be the case

Russty your method worked for yet another one that was missing lol. But the one that was gone first only respawned after 1 hour meditation, turns out longer periods don't help.

the one by the fishmarket yeah thats the one i meant i think you were refering to the other one further down nearer the docks i was confusing the 2 sorry my goof but at least it works for him.
