A Towerful of Mice- how do you refuse Anabelle?

Supposedly, during your conversation with her, you're able to get skeptical and refuse to bring her bones to Graham, and then she'll reveal her true nature as a pesta. But I can't get the option to show up. I can either agree, or end the conversation.
Seraching the internet says there's supposed to be a fresh corpse somewhere in the tower, and if I examine it, I can ask Anabella about it to raise suspicions. I can't find it, though- the only body I could examine was in a puddle outside, and it didn't change the dialogue options at all. Do I have to listen to all the ghosts? I might've missed some.

I found as many of the ghosts as I could, but I wasn't counting. I might've missed one or two. Is there a specific ghost scene you have to trigger in order to question Anabelle?

One or two floors below the lab there are two bedrooms just before you get to the stairs going up. The body is in one of those and there is a ghost scene to view with the lamp in the same room.
