PS4 Controller weird inputs/buttons HELP
While using a PS4 controller (with Big Picture mode) my buttons are so weird (I have to open the game using the .exe otherwise I only get xbox buttons), so:

R1 > Fast Attack
R2> Heavy attack

Triangle > Choose Sign menu
And theres no button to use the signs http://prntscr.com/nqgg3y
Here is the part in the tutorial http://prntscr.com/nqghfk
This counterattack part is missing too https://prnt.sc/nqgh0i

The non-combat part I think its normal tho, like Circle to jump, X to sprint, Square to skip dialogue... etc

Can someone help me?

A'right, one more time...

The game has native DS4 support, but you need to disable any and all xinput emulators, including Steam's own (Steam, Settings, Controller Settings, untick everything) - the last bit you are aware of exists, I gather...

And MOST IMPORTANT, you need to plug the controller in with a wire!

Even if you use an official reciever, the game will consider the controller an X1 controller due to the wireless connection.

Try a cheap USB extention cord, if you are sitting more than 1m away from your PC.

If you insist on wireless - and can manage playing with the input lag - you need DS4Windows and a mod from the nexus to get the correct button prompts on screen. Search the forum for a link, as I've never used it.

It sounds to me like you have a custom profile active in a xinput emulator, that automatic overwrite the game's own button mapping.

Disable that - and the Steam emulation - and try again.

Thank you for the answer but it didnt work. I managed to fix it tho. I will leave it here for people who have the same problem as me in the future:

Go into documents/The Witcher 3 and open input.settings with notepad, then you will need to search and just change the lines for your liking, that way you can rebind any button.

These are the commands:

IK_Pad_A_CROSS
IK_Pad_B_CIRCLE
IK_Pad_X_SQUARE
IK_Pad_Y_TRIANGLE
IK_Pad_Start
IK_Pad_Back_Select
IK_Pad_DigitUp
IK_Pad_DigitDown
IK_Pad_DigitLeft
IK_Pad_DigitRight
IK_Pad_LeftThumb
IK_Pad_RightThumb
IK_Pad_LeftShoulder > L1
IK_Pad_RightShoulder >R1
IK_Pad_LeftTrigger >L2
IK_Pad_RightTrigger >R2
