Practicum in advanced alchemy, mash bug... Completely broken quest.

Quest is beyond broken, have tried everything from reloading saves, restarting quest, trying different order of tasks, repairing game files, reinstalling game, removing mods, dropping items, removing mutagens and whatever I could think of. I have seen the few other older posts and tried one or two things but nothing fixes it at all.

Still I can't progress past adding the mash to the evaporator, after the inventory screen and transferring the mash nothing happens, I either get Geralt staring into the abyss or an infinite loading screen. The only thing I can do is close the game in task manager.

Seriously lost at how to fix this, NOTHING works...

Finally fixed it, with mods on still. Took all 4 mutagens off and used arrow keys and keys to select mash. Something made a difference, I also tried loading a save from a week ago and still didn't make a difference so no idea what bugs it out.
