I know, right? Running and jogging everywhere is such an immersion killer for me. People don't do that.
KEYBOARD
Geralt: There is walk, jog (default), and then sprint
Roach: Slow (default), medium and fast (or whatever you call those in horse terms)
Not sure what you are talking about...
Glad you corrected it, =GG= Mr Moe. That was just too much misinformation in a small space.

I would upload a video myself, if I wouldn't have deleted all the trash videos a few months back, so that's unfortunate. All I have is a video with Geralt slow walking (the speed of movement you're saying doesn't exist), so that's all I could show you.
It's not me who's wrong
Idk why you guys would be so quick to disprove what I'm saying, if to you this is new information and there clearly is a possibility you don't know any better
OK, so this is the best thing I could find: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4OIbdSdaRE
"Demonstration of Geralt's walking speed as of Patch 1.07. He seems to walk much faster outside, but slows down to his former speed upon entering a building."
“Former” as in the one that has been removed for keyboard (PC) users in Patch 1.07. Look up "witcher 3 slow walk" on the internet and you'll find a bunch of PC users crying about the removed "slow walk" movement speed. The slowest walking speed on a controller looks literally like the one you see in that video while Geralt is walking inside the house.
2 different walking speeds on Roach, none of which are a thing when playing with a keyboard.
Geralt: There is walk(CTRL), jog (default), and then sprint (SHIFT)
Roach: Slow (default), medium (SHIFT) and fast (Double tap SHIFT)
added some control bindings
also to add you can hold shift to auto follow the road when riding roach without using stamina.
They weren't disproving that there are more movement speeds when using a controller. They are disproving the fact that you said that KEYBOARD AND MOUSE do not have those functions, when they do. If you reread their comments again, they are just telling you the controls on KBM that trigger those "extra" movement speeds that you've been saying. Geralt doesn't run in the house when we use KBM either, he's literally walking slowly, as if he is overloaded. I know this since I use KBM for this game.
Controller has 4 movement speeds on Geralt and 5 on Roach. KBM on the other hand, like they pointed out themselves, have only 3 on Geralt and 3 on Roach.
I count 3 and 3.
Here I only see “Geralt: ... walk [and] jog (default)” and “Roach: Slow (default)”
Nothing different here either, 3 and 3.
So where are they showing the 3 missing movement speeds that are only available on a controller? Here, I'll even put the controller speeds in that same text format:
CONTROLLER
Geralt: Slow walk (slightly tilted joystick), walk (slightly more tilted joystick), jog (joystick tilted at its max), and then sprint (sprint button). 4, not 3.
Roach: Slow walk (slightly tilted joystick), walk (slightly more tilted joystick), trot (joystick tilted at its max*), canter (hold the sprint button*), and gallop (double tap the sprint button*). Again, 5, not 3. (*Not really sure about those controls, don't really remember if they're correct and have no way to test it) (here's the reference for horse movement speed names)
Here, I'll even add the video examples of these 3 controller-only movement speeds:
“Geralt: slow walk”
“Roach: slow walk”
“Roach: walk”
The only thing I was wrong about is the fact that Geralt doesn't change to any special walking speed when he's overweight like I thought (on KBM), he's only locked to the same "default" (KBM) walking speed. Right now I'm playing with KBM and the “over 9000 weight limit” mod installed (so no quick check of overweight movement speed for me), I should've double checked before saying that, but that doesn't even change the point of the discussion anyway.
