[SOLVED] GOTY or DLC? A confusion that's still holding me back from buying it

• What should i buy, GOTY or DLC separately?
  
• If i buy either one of them, should i buy the Expansion Pass DLC? And what would happen if i buy it?
  
• Why is it cheaper to buy GOTY than DLC separately, if it still give the same content?

Buy GOTY, it contains everything and is usually cheaper.

The Expansion Pass contains the two expansions, is cheaper than buying the expansions individually, and is for those who bought the ordinary version with only the main game. You need the main game to run the expansions.

As for the pricing, it is usually cheaper to buy a bundle than the items individually. I have had instances where it is cheaper to buy a complete edition of a game which contained all DLC than to buy the bits of DLC that I was missing. Always check what gives best value when buying and here that is the GOTY version which contains everything.

And wait for a sale if you can, it is usually much much cheaper!

What happen if i buy GOTY and then proceed to buy Expansion Pass?

Will it break the game cuz i bought the DLC i already owned in GOTY?

GOTY cause it contains everything and is cheaper. GOTY is cheaper because CDPR has already made money of people who have already had their foot in the door, ie. bought at least the main game and 1 DLC.

This way they can get as many people as possible to buy the same game.

Wait until it goes on sale and buy the GOTY edition for $15. This happens pretty often.
GOTY contains everything.

i get this, but still no one is answering what would happen if i buy GOTY and expansion pass

Just a note for future buyers of this game, who is just as confused as i was:
If you buy the GOTY edition, you get everything from the store page, that includes the expansion pass. sound track is not included.
