Maybe you try to read up on witcher.wikia.com to see if you're missing something the quest expects you to do. Not sure exactly where you're at.
At the moment, the quest expects me to fight about a dozen wraiths at once. Who teleport spam around the area. There doesn't seem to be any tactic to fighting them, other than to spam dodge roll and signs back at them and hope for the best.
But with their teleport attacks, they can inflict damage on me before they even render into my field of view. Making the confrontation one of luck. And I'm not lucky enough to finish the fight.
I've read the wiki for the quest, and I'm just supposed to beat them in a straight fight. Which doesn't seem to be a realistic possibility.
It's a shame, because I kinda like this game. Or at least, I used to. Spending about six cumulative hours on the same mission kind of ruins it for me.
The Yrden sign is what works with them; traps them so they can't teleport away. Look in the Bestiary. If that still doesn't help, I'd suggest leveling up a bit more.
I don't think you can call it glitch murdered if the content is just straight up too difficult for you.
Moon Dust bombs and the Yrden sign are your friend. If you're not simply underlevelled... Also, tried turning the difficulty down to Just The Story?
If you are playing on higher Difficulty Levels then you should be well prepared for this fight: You need Swallow/food, Tawny Owl and Spectre Oil. The Moondust Bomb would be (very) useful, but probably you will not own it at this low level.

(DL Death March, Vanilla)
I am experiencing a graphical glitch in the presence of the wraiths. Every time there's a teleport, there's a frame tear, and my game freezes briefly. I've no clue what's causing it, and this is the only time I've encountered it. But it renders the fight borderline unwinnable, as I can't effectively dodge.
Yeah, you really weren't clear, as it's the first time I've ever heard of such a glitch.
1. Have you tried lowering difficulty to Just The Story? They hardly do any damage then
2. You can dodge while blocking with your sword by holding down the block button all the time, this might help you
3. Have you tried lowering all graphics settings to minimum? And if this fixes it, turning each back one by one until you can reproduce the lag, then keeping that setting down. It would be really strange if you potatofied your graphics and it still lagged.
Can the difficulty be changed without restarting the entire campaign?
And yes, I have tried block dodging. But I can't input controls during the frame tearing, so when the wraiths do their teleport attack, I take damage before I have any chance to respond.
Also yes. The bug persists whether I'm on ultra high, or on potato mode.
yes you can change difficulty at any time. Its in one of the menus. YOu do not have to restart the game in order to do so.
NOte though it will affect achievements. If yoru playing on death march and lower the difficulty settings at any time during your playthrough. You will disqualify yourself from getting the achievement for beating the game on death march.
Very strange. I tried looking around but virtually nobody else has this issue, so assuming you have no mods installed, i'm going to assume there's something going on with your graphics drivers or hardware... can't think of anything more helpful unfortunately :(
