Blood & Wine good ending problems..

Hi guys!!
Through my "natural " playthrough I got the tragic ending for this DLC and i really felt bad about it and all of Geralt's voice lines definitely made me feel like I was meant to prevent this and want to go back and save the duchess. However reading the tutorials it seems like I did everything the game needs me to to get this ending so idk what i did wrong

-in the fablesphere I was nice enough to Syanna and she did try to sleep with me so I guess she didnt hate me(?) i rejected her offer tho - are there lines i am crucially missing??
-in night of the long fangs I am pretty sure I went straight to syanna i didn't go after the elder or anyhting like that
-i have read all the diary entires prior to entering the fablesphere
-i investigated the 5th victim and went to talk to syanna in prison but none of the "she forgot you" dialogues came up

any tips?? do i have to fight detlaff again :((((((

To be able to get the happy ending for blood and wine you only need to try to free her from Artorias Vigo illusion and hear her side of the story. You don't actually need to be good with her, just show curiosity about how and why she came back looking for vengeance.

With this done after Geralt discovers who was the 5th victim he has to go to talk to Syanna in her confinement. There you need to remember why she wants revenge("Because she felt Annarieta forgot about her after she got vanished from the Dutchy"), because Geralt is going to ask her why she wants to kill her sister and one of the answers will be the reason Syanna previously told to Geralt. With the right option chosen then in next choice should appear something like "You ever thought in forgiving your sister", choose this and soon after the next choice will come, here don't bash her, instead choose to tell her that "they were just two children when Syanna got vanished"

yeah, i've read about these voice lines in all the tutorials i read but they don't show up for me, there is no way for me to choose them so i don't know what to do...i read all the journal dialogues too idk

If you don't, then the conversation ends up being quite hostile.

i mentioned above i read all the entries, i exhausted every speech option with her and i can't find this forgiveness one..i tried looking for video clips of where exactly you get that option but can't find it, which part of the game is it in??

You didn't actually mention that you'd read all the entries before entering the Fablesphere. You mentioned investigating who the fifth victim was meant to be.

yep, read these entries on both my playthroughs of this DLC and still didn't get any of those forgiveness dialogue options :< are there any other things i need to have done? fwiw i've gotten the ending where they both die and the ending where syanna dies
