Carnal Sins: Kill Eustace in Novigrad

I can't believe I didn't find anything about this on Google, and only a single discussion in these forums on this topic. I'm working through yet another playthrough of TW3 and just got to the Carnal Sins quest.

I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pissed that I can't kill Eustace the corpse collector. I tried a lot of things, the game just won't let me kill him. Anyone feel the same way as me? What a dirtbag

why kill him? geralt is not framed as a cold blooded murderer. Plus eustace is not armed. that homeless looking corpse collector just desperately pockets the belongings of the deceased. That punch he gets is enough. Yea, he could of ran to the police with the information.. but not grounds for murder.

Maybe in today's age, sure. But back then people got killed for all sorts of tiny infractions. I'd say him being the piece of ♥♥♥♥ he is, and him preventing/making difficult Geralt from receiving information to help prevent future murders is grounds for killing that dude.
