How to bypass Infinite Loading Screen during the Ugly Baby quest after meeting the Nilfgaardians?

I shall be ever so grateful to anybody who could fix this.

I have The Witcher III: Wild Hunt GOTY edition on Steam, the mods I've ever installed are the ff: -Multi Companion Mod, Yennefer Clothes Pack, HQ Yennefer Eyes, HD Reworked Project, and Debug Console Mod. I've only uninstalled MCM and HD Reworked project so only the rest remain installed.

Note: ALL mods were manually installed, no NMM or Vortex used.

The problem goes like this. I am stuck at the loading screen after meeting the Nilfgaardian battle mounts on the way to Kaer Morhen. I think it's a mod problem since I had this same issue with the loading screen that comes after deciding to turn the botchling into a lubberkin before during Family Matters quest. I resolved it by uninstalling HD Reworked Project and Multi Companion Mod; which is done by entering "DisableCompanionSpawning(1)" in Velen, Toussaint, Kaer Morhen, Skellige and Vizima. Note: I used console commands to reveal all signposts, I haven't reached the part where KM, Vizima and Toussaint are freely accessible. I can fast travel to them but Geralt then is automatically overburdened while there (fast travelling back to Velen, Novigrad and Skellige resolves this)

I have attempted deleting the mods from the Mods folder, A reinstall (uninstalled via steam, reinstalled via steam), a clean reinstall (uninstalled via steam, deleted all remaining folders from my TW3 folder, gamesaves are intact, reinstall via steam, tried installing mod limit fix, tried putting the game on fullscreen, tried opening my save in the clean installed game with the mods, tried opening my save in the clean installed game without any mods installed, tried script merger (no conflicts), tried meditating unil 1pm before talking to the stable hand (which triggers the conversation that leads to the cutscene w the nilfgaardians, tried doing the byways murders quest before ugly baby, but not before ugly baby began so the quest was in my objectives, just not started, I've alsotried opening the save with MCM installed.

Any help is appreciated

Im afraid of mods but they apply many extra enjoyable features to W3.

Have you tried mod limit fix made by yourself? By Hex editing the exe.

otherwise i think you should Wipe all W3 related files on your PC. Install vanilla first. Test your game if Loading issue occurs, if not try adding each mod ONE BY ONE and test again, until this happens again. Then you could detect what mod it is and what file or conflict could cause the issue.

do not wipe all w3 related files, smh.
If you wanna troubleshoot if its mods, disable all mods.

The texture memory budget is 500. I have 4gb of vram, how do I write it? Is 500 in mb? Because if yes, I'll set it to 2000.

Yes I have. I downloaded mine from https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3643
I followed the steps indicated in the mod (which are download the mod, unzip, and put the modlimitpatcher.exe in the game's bin/x64 directory, run modlimitpatcher.exe) and saw no difference. I will try to do it again today, do correct me if you're referring to a mod limit fix different than the one I tried. :)

Hi I just tried this, I opened my exe file only to relize that is is already set to 500 because of the patcher I ran from the nexusmods link. I tried it again despite that, even set it to 512 to see if anything happened. Replaced the already patched exe file, with the hexed one I just made and still infinite loading screen. :(

I may have to reinstall once more and refrain from downloading any mods. I suppose my save files are already corrupted, so I may have to restart my NG+ gameplay. Luckily, I kept a save file without the mods and made a separate one with them, then used the latter to play 72h into the game :(

OMG, thats too bad. So you got it working after loading savefile before using mods?
I think mods that alter core game stuff, like Ghost Mode/FCR savefiles wont back to normal.
There is many savefiles on the web you would use to mitigate lost time.

I'm downloading one now! I don't think I'll be running any mods though. If I do want some mods installed, it's probably some outfits for Yen, or a slight modification to her eyes and that's it. No textures/graphics mods. I thank you all for your responses despite the fact that I never got to fix it, still I didn't leave empty-handed. I'll get a fresh reinstall after deleting all TW3 related files and starting fresh from there. :)

Update: I downloaded a save file uploaded by a user on nexusmods that takes place before the Ugly Baby quest just to see if I'd run into the same problem and the loading screen simply went like normal! It's my save that's really broken. :(
