i have aerondight but its power is 2100 how can i increase it?

each time you hit an enemy with aerondight it gets a charge added to it. Killing an enemy with aerondight fully charged expends all the charges and permanantly increases the damage aerondight does.


So to increase its damage use aerondight to physically hit enemies to gain charges and when its fully charged kill an enemy and its damage will increase permanately.

No i didnt mean it, i know it actually i mean all swords ,in inventory then gamer statues

so you mean how to increase the damage of all swords?


Well all swords dont have an ability that you can use to raise their damage. However there are a couple of things you can do.

They re runes you can place in the slots that give you added attack power those would increase weapon damage.


Also loot scales to your level. Meaning you find a chest that has a weapon in it. Its going to be your level or close to it. Meaning for example if your lvl 11 for example and you open a chest and there is a weapon in it its going to be around level 11.


However if you were actually level 21 when you opened that chest the weapon would be around level 21

Apart from Aerondight, most swords you find can't be permanently upgraded. The one exception to this is the Witcher School equipment, which CAN be upgraded. But there are requirements that have to be met first. You need the blueprints for it, you need to have unlocked a blacksmith capable of producing weapons of that quality, you need all the required materials, and you need to be at or above the required level. Furthermore, the blueprints for the equipment is found through treasure hunt quests, and the maps are available at various merchants throughout the game.

For example, let's say you have the weakest version of the Feline Silver Sword, and you want to upgrade it to an Enhanced Feline Silver Sword. You need to be at least level 23 (that's the level the Enhanced version of the weapon requires), you need the materials, and you need the blueprint for that sword. If you have all that, go to the swordsmith in Oxenfurt and use his crafting services. Be careful with this, though. Upgrading Witcher School gear requires you to sacrifice any current School gear you have at the time, as those pieces of equipment are included on the materials list. If you're not high enough level to use the upgraded weapon, you've effectively lost one of your weapons.
