Mods for a NG or NG+
Hey folks,

I'm returning to the game, after a few years away, and I'm trying to figure out the best approach. I never finished the game in it's entirety, but I did get near the end of the main story line. I had try to rush through the final stages of the game to get to ng+ for increased difficulty, but I fizzled out.

I want to start again with increased difficulty, and from my understanding you can get this with some of the overhauls, but none of them seem to support NG+. The reason I want NG+ is because I also want to reach all levels of the signs that I like to use, because it was unsatisfying to not be able to do so in my first play through.

TL;DR: Is there a gameplay overhaul for a NG that would allow me to reach all levels of signs? Or, are there mods that would help resolve some of the concerns people had with NG+?

I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

there are only two good overhaul mods. Enhanced edition, which is far from vanilla, and does not support NG+. Other is Ghostmode, which tries to stay close to vanilla feel. Even though GM is compatible with NG+, does not mean witcher 3 is compatible with NG+. It seems like you think ng+ is harder, but it's the straight opposite, and add it more bugs, boringness and numbers going off the scale as well into the mix. Witcher 3 was never designed with ng+ in mind, do not expect any kind of balanced experience in ng+. Have fun.

The main desire is to be able to get to much higher skill levels in a playthrough, that's the appeal of ng+. Is there a way to do that in a balanced way with either of those overhauls?

NG+ is godmode and will always be. Do not expect any kind of balanced experience with it in w3. In w3's case, it's quite stupid to play ng+ due to how poorly it's designed. Too many flaws.

Author says ng+ is supported but he hasn't really tested it so it might have a few bugs.
