i have a i7 7700k
but is my gpu strong enough ?
I dont have a 1080p monitor x.x
my 1080ti died
im between cards while i save up money and wait for a 3060 super to come out
well that sucks. im guessing it was out of warrenty.. yea I'm waiting for the 3090 myself. want all the eyecandy for cyberpunk curreintly on a 1080ti still. but its showing its age these days.
i turned my pc on and display driver failed to start
i tried a bunch of stuff from using ddu to wipe river to flashing a new bios and reinstalling windows 7 times
took it to a repair shop and they got it to run on a 2019 driver but it only stayed on for 30 minutes
sadly no repair shops near me had the hardware to try my gpu outside of my pc x.x
hmm i dunno. mine is from EVGA and if the card goes bad i just do an RMA with them send it to there factory and wait about 1 week for a free replacement. even after warrenti you can get it repaired. it wont be free of charge though.
my 1080ti as a PNY brand they don't have that service
and with EVGA it was my understanding they exclusively have those services for 48/50 sates ecluding hawaii and alaska
also they cost $300 more than other GPUs
i had a 1080ti, i never played with settings mostly set everything for high/ultra and it worked
with gtx 1650 im scared im gonna explode the gpu
its worth it just for the warrenty alone. thats why there more expensive. much better then paying cheaper and paying the price later down the line though.
yhe im probably buy a EVGA 3070S or 3080S if thyre not over $3000
