Infinite Loading Screen... reinstall fixed nothing
So i tried to mod the Witcher 3. I don't know what went wrong but eventually my loading screen got either that long that i always ran out of patience or it just won't load at all. Probably the second one. So i deinstalled all the mods on vortex and also vortex as well. Still didn't work. So i completly reinstalled the game, but still nothing worked. The problem is not because of the save files, since i can't start a new game either. When i try to, there's jsut another endless loading screen. I really don't know what to do, can anyone help me? :(

That's actually weird, cause I've had the same problems except unloading a mod and redeploying a few times did the trick..

Yea idk, i think it's just weird that even after a complete new installation it still won't work :/ I really got no idea how to fix that

I can only imagine that there was a folder (in your Witcher 3 Steam Folder) or your old game settings.ini (in My Documents most likely) that wasn't deleted before your reinstall that is interferring with the new reinstall.

go to folder
Documents\The WItcher 3
delete the input.settings and user.settings files. maybe one of the is corrupt.

are you SURE you deleted the mods? very often the mod files are STILL around screwing things up.

check antivirus log. a new definition file may be blocking the game.

Oh man, you were right... i did not deinstall my mods properly x) I thought i deinstalled them with vortex, but apparently that didn't deinstall them at all. Well after deleting all the mod folders i can finally start the game again. Thank you so much for your help guys <3

Good luck to you, and ultimately if you want to install mods again, start simple and do the manual installs.
