Pyres Of Novigrad Bug 2020

Okay, so I do realize that this bug was found 5 years ago. However, I cannot get around this bug. I'm supposed to find thieves or talk to beggers in the quest of Pyres of Novigrad. I stupidly decided to do a side quest and now I cannot seem to be able to find the thieves or talk to the beggers. I've tried going back to Triss Marigold's house, as instructed by the previous forum and Youtube videos, and still nothing. I still cannot manage to get around this rut, nor have previous saved games to start over with. So, does anyone know of an additional loophole, OR have visuals/video? I would appreciate it greatly, as this is making me crazy.

=/ I don't know what to say... I was stuck with the same problem but getting into one of the corners of the main square, which I thought was the way to Triss' house, triggered the cutscene and everything worked after that :) the cutscene is not triggered inside the yellow areas delimited to finding the thief.

You can also find the Putrid Grove yourself.
There are a couple different ways to follow that quest.
Go watch someone doing it on youtube so you get an idea where it is if you do not want to bother finding it.

Worst case scenario, you will have to pay some coin to enter it. Which is fine. Its not that much.
