Pocket items do NOT work.

I am playing the game on a PC with a standard mouse. For the life of me, I can’t get items (e.g., torch, lamp) to work. I have activated them and pushed the middle button—NOTHING happens. Let me list what I have done:
I have activated the items via. inventory.
I have deactivated the crossbow, which by the way does work with the middle button on the mouse.
I have re-assigned the pocket items to a different key—instead of the middle button.
I have used different mice.
Still the pocket items do NOT work.
Please help!!

Have you pulled up the screen during gameplay that lets you select your signs and bombs for use against enemies and then selected the quest items in the same way you would a sign or bomb? When selected, you still need to click to activate.

Not real sure if I Iunderstand. I have changed the mouse wheel that allows different signs. But I am unable to move the pocket itmes to bomb area. Thanks much

I had the same problem with the torch after I put it away as combat mode was starting. Casting signs needs to wait for the torch animation before you can cast another.

I saved, then exited, waited for the save to synch, launched the game, and the torch worked.

Thanks Tzan, I did that as well. Still not working.
