Im starting to think the netflix series has brought more harm than good, it's creating unnecessary conflict within the playerbase. Dandelion and Geralt have always been straight, in the books and the games, it's simply wishful thinking.

As if there hasn't been a ship of these two before.

But he isn't. I don't understand the need of making a hetero chracter gay like it's just changing the story and ruining it. Imagine if the new netflix series changed the whole story and made a new one, it wouldn't be cool and people wouldn't like it, it's pretty much the same. And if you're about to say there aren't enough gay characters in games, just stop bullsh*tting please, there are. Not only in games but books, TV series and movies too. Gays have a voice. Maybe instead of making hetero characters gay you should start thinking about real issues gay people have, like in middle east. I'm so done with westerners getting triggered for nothing. Like dude there are people getting killed because they're gay in middle east and here you are getting triggered because you want a hetero character in a book to be gay.

The petition isn't a petition to "make" Geralt do anything. It's to give players the option to romance Dandelion.

Dude would Geralt being Bisexual change how he kills monsters? Interacts with other characters? Change any choices besides who he sleeps around wtih? When my son said he was bisexual it didn't change WHO he is as a person. It's just another aspect of who he is.

lmao you're pathetic if you're unironically acting as if I'm a homophobe.I don't care who is gay or not. All I care about is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story. And there isn't such thing in the story. This is double edged sword. Game tries to simulate feel the medieval times and how people generally were back then (with magic added in) and such thing would've been considered anomaly back then.. which cooould end up with hanging. Just look at how mages and non-humans are treated under Radovid's rule.

That said, I am not inherently agaisnt it if it's implemented well, not my cup of coffee, however it should stay true to what Witcher wanted to achieve - believable characters and world with magic sprinkled in.
